No loyalty

Our car was sitting outside the house vacant, when it was hit. We filed a claim with Traveler’s and I was pleased with their efficiency and claims handling. Then they just withdrew our policy without warning. I had State Farm in the past, where I had several claims and some speeding tickets, but I’d never been cancelled. Traveler’s would have been great, but they lack loyalty to their customers. Stay away.
Bad renewal policies

I thought I was with a good insurance company. I experienced only good service with them, except when I incurred a speeding ticket, when I went a little over on a 55mph zone. After that, they rejected my policy renewal. It was outrageous. I felt like a child being punished for a minor mistake.

Cancels without informing

When I bought my first car, I thought I was getting a great deal with Traveler’s. However, they cancelled my coverage without informing me, so I’ve been without insurance for two months already. I was also billed for September, when the insurance was cancelled in fact, on August. For anyone interested in getting insurance from Traveler’s, think twice if the savings you’re offered will actually be worth it.
