i have been w allstate i am satisfied w prices and they are easy to get transfers of coverage as i droped my chevy and put insurance on my vw i would recomm end allstate too others,ihave not wrtecked or had accidnt in my vehicals so i dont know about promptness of payment .

I was already expecting a horrible claims experience, because of all the bad stories I’ve heard. My friend totalled my car in another state. Allstate told me that they would send out an adjuster in 3 days time, and gave me a 3-day window. I was surprised, because on the very first day, the adjuster already informed me that my car was a total loss, and assessment would have to be transferred to another department. ...
Good service but expensive

I have been a faithful Allstate insurance holder for several years. I’ve had two comprehensive claims on this car in the past. One from flooding and one due to theft. They have always rendered commendable service. The adjusters were easily accessible, and returned my calls promptly. They also cooperated with the Dodge repair shops to ensure that the car was properly fixed. There was even an instance when they authorized repairs of a pre-existing damage.
